KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
· Designed, implemented, and tested a cross-platform, Mozilla Firefox Extension using XUL, JavaScript, XML, and HTML.
· Improved process scheduling by eliciting requirements from internal clients and end-users of the system and implemented the solution using Microsoft Outlook and Visual Basic for Applications.
· Automated backup system processes for a Windows/UNIX platform, which resulted in a decrease of operator time by 45 minutes per week and eliminated the potential for human error.
· Eliminated wait staff scheduling errors for a local Wyoming restaurant by developing a system with the main design goal of maintaining a similar user interface. The reduced learning curve ensured a smooth transition in a fast-paced industry.
· Accelerated the learning of mathematics and computer science students by helping them fully understand the problem and how to clarify it.
· Provided training to store managers regarding trading post operation, which resulted in sales figures in excess of $100,000 for the summer season.
